How to Print Tweets at a Real-time with Memobird

Twitter can provide many kinds of information for us, some are very informative, some other just make our life more fun! Using Memobird you can print out tweets from your favorite Twitter account at a real-time right on your desk. In this article, We will show you how to complete the setup.

1. Complete the Memobird setup

    Make sure you have completed Memobird setup. If you haven't done that, follow the setup instruction here

    2. Create a new Memobird applet with IFTTT

      To make it easier for you to understand, let’s try to print out tweets from a Twitter account. First, you need to open IFTTT website here. If you don’t have an IFTTT account, you need to create a new IFTTT account first. If you already have an IFTTT account, you can sign in to your IFTTT account.

      a. After you sign in, tap New Applet then tap +this and search the trigger service, in our case, the trigger service would be Twitter.


      b. Choose the trigger action by tapping New tweet by a specific user trigger action and enter the Twitter username whom you want to print the tweets.


      c. Tap +that then search the action service that is Memobird. 


      d. Choose action Print a message then enter your Memobird Device ID, edit the message to print as needed, tap Create action, and tap Finish to complete the applet.


      e. Once you've successfully created the applet, you can switch it on/off as you want.


      Then, whenever the Twitter account @Tweets2Motivate tweets a motivational quote, Memobird will print it right away.
